  • Prepare draft budgets and site start budgets for each project assigned to the Quantity Surveyor.
  • Generate quarterly valuations and conduct material “cost to complete” assessments for each site under the Quantity Surveyor’s responsibility.
  • Process sub-contract payments and final accounts, ensuring they are signed off by the sub-contractor.
  • Create sub-contract orders, ensuring they are authorized by the designated representative and include all necessary documentation to comply with Group Commercial Policy.
  • Manage cost control and monitor changes effectively.
About the benefits and rewards: The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £60k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits. About the requirements:
  • Degree preferred
  • Performed a similar role within the construction industry
  • Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable
  • A keen interest in construction
  • Committed to inclusion and diversity
  • Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
  • IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems
