Volunteer Drivers for monthly afternoon Social Clubs in Fareham
Are you able to provide a much needed lift to a visually impaired person living in the Fareham area? 
Open Sight Hampshire, the County's largest sight loss organisation, offers monthly afternoon Social Clubs in Fareham, Stubbington, Gosport, Locks Heath and Wickham, each providing a much needed lifeline to local blind and partially sighted people, most of whom are elderly and often socially isolated.
By providing the opportunity for local visually impaired people to get together for a welcome chat, cup of tea, light hearted entertainment, support and understanding can have a really significant impact on someone's life.
Your role would be to collect folks from their homes, take them to the Club and return them home afterwards. If you wish to stay and help out at the meeting, you would be made very welcome.
The Clubs are run by local Volunteers so give great opportunities to meet new people and make new friends in your area.
DBS check required Valid DBS within 3 years accepted or registered on DBS on-line
Expenses reimbursed Mileage paid at 45p a mile from your door to door

Training provided Sight Awareness and Safer Sighted Guiding training
Volunteers covered by insurance Public Liability Cover. Volunteer Drivers to advise motor insurer.
