Zapsa LTD is a specialist Talent Acquisition Consultancy working in the Renewable Energy, Environmental, IT, and Sustainability sectors. Our client provides Civil engineering solutions and traditional construction services across the UK. As a Civil and Construction Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing various construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

* Conduct a thorough analysis of project requirements, constraints, and risks to develop realistic and achievable project schedules.

* Utilise project management software and tools to create Gantt charts, critical path analyses, and other planning documents.

* Monitor project progress regularly and identify potential delays or deviations from the schedule. Implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.

* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for construction activities.

* Collaborate with project teams to optimize resource allocation and sequencing of work activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.

* Prepare progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.

* Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budget forecasts, and financial reports for construction projects.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

* Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential project risks.

* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as relevant building codes and regulations
