Job Description
An exciting new position of IT Project Coordinator has come up at CPL IT Department. This is a temporary role for 12 months.
Job Purpose
To ensure smooth and efficient coordination of Project activities. Supports Project management team by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring resource availability for the Project team. Elicit, document, and maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the Project lifecycle.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist the Project management team in the development of Project activities, such as Project schedules and Project plans.
Organising and facilitating all Project activities including booking travel and stay.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Execute Project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices and purchase orders, among other financial documents.
- Supervise the Project procurement process.
- Coordinate the allocation of Project resources to ensure the Project team has what’s needed at the right time.
- Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of Project milestones and deliverables.
- Be the liaison between the Project team and Project clients throughout the project life cycle.
- Help Project management team monitor Project progress and provide updates to Project stakeholders.
- Schedule stakeholder meetings, document and generate reports.
- Foster cross-team collaboration to help Project team members complete Project tasks and produce deliverables.
- Elicit, document, and maintain accurate and up-to-date Project documentation throughout the Project lifecycle.
- Developing excellent relationships with Project delivery team and internal CPL team involved in the Project by ensuring smooth communication.
- Facilitate system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation.
