Software Delivery Engineer - Cambridge - £30,000 to £50,000 per annum (Graduate Candidates are encouraged to apply)

We are delighted to be partnering with a Cambridge based Software company who as part of some exciting growth, are now seeking a Software Delivery Engineer.

Applications are welcomed from experienced individuals, but our client also enjoys investing in Graduate candidates who can bring strong academics, logical mindset and a willingness and passion to learn

What will my responsibilities be?

  • Assume responsibility for the software development lifecycle (SLDC) that results in packaged releases of their software
  • Analyse the SDLC to identify potential weak points
  • Provide assistance and guidance to the tech team when you come across these weak points/bottlenecks
  • Drive processes forward to help the organisation meet commercial goals
  • Ensure efficient and high-standard lifecycle management on a daily basis

What skills/qualities can I bring?

  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in a Technical Subject (1st or 2.1)
  • Passion and eagerness to learn
  • Exceptional communication skills - willingness to work with internal stakeholders
  • Exposure to release and build engineering - possibly from a personal/education project
  • Ability to take on some Project Management duties
  • Scripting experience in one or more of: Python, Bash, JavaScript, Ansible or SQL
