Overview An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual looking to take the next step in their career as a Project Manager within the construction & development sector. Client Part of a larger Property Developer, our client are a versatile and dedicated Construction and Development firm. Based in the East Midlands and operating where required, offering a layered, practical, and professional aid to the construction and property development industry. Role

  • Working in conjunction with the site team, ensuring accurate construction whilst maintaining quality and progress.
  • Responsible for providing sound advice, guidance, and support to the project team throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
  • Produce and manage programme of works.
  • Monitor all site health and safety procedures and compliance by all site personnel.
  • Liaise with supply chain team to ensure compliance and effective site set up.
  • Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions.
  • Compiling full tender packs, including invitation to tender, specification, bill of quantities/schedule of works and drawings.
  • Liaising via email, phone & face to face meetings with our professional team, those such as Architects & Structural Engineers.
Person
  • Background in Construction/Development within the commercial sector.
  • Ability to work on own on initiative
  • Proficient with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel).
  • The ability to effectively and confidently liaise with internal staff and external clients in a professional, courteous and enthusiastic manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • UK Driver’s license essential.
