The position involves:

  • Loading/unloading of vehicle.
  • Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
  • Delivering to depots in the South West
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
  • Attending regular training sessions
  • Experience of fridge trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Covering a 24/7 operation, must be able to work weekends.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite and a team player.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • This position requires the successful applicant to be LST trained, as these trailers will be used daily for trunking work. Full training will be provided.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
