Our client, Aran Fire Protection Ltd (part of the New Path Fire and Security Group), is a progressive fire protection company specialising in passive fire prevention. They provide a range of services including fire stopping, fire barriers, surveys, fire door installation and maintenance, fire damper installation and door condition reports and maintenance. Reporting to Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost estimation, financial management and successful project delivery.
Cost Estimation and Analysis preparing detailed cost estimates based on specifications, drawings and site visits; analysing project requirements, providing budgeting and forecasting; Financial Management monitoring budgets, invoices, financial control; identifying risks; Contract Administration - assisting in preparation, negotiating and contracts management; Project Collaboration working closely with Contracts/Project Managers; managing cost reports, cashflow forecasts and other financial documents; Software Utilisation utilising Xero for financial tracking and reporting; implementing other relevant software and tools
HNC/D, Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying, or related field
In depth experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the passive fire protection industry (possibly construction)
CSCS Card and full drivers licence
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools)
Basic proficiency in Xero would be desirable
