We offer a quality caseload, and you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception to completion.

Your duties will include:

  • Handling sales and purchases (both freehold and leasehold), transfers of equity, and re-mortgages. Experience of retirement properties, shared ownership and equity release is an advantage but not essential.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties
  • Conducting title checks and searches
  • Preparing and reviewing contracts and other legal documents
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
  • Providing exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential conveyancing
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive and client-focused approach

You will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Accurate time recording
  • Meeting time recording targets
  • Meeting costs targets
  • Timely invoicing of WIP
  • Timely recovery of outstanding invoices
  • Able to work autonomously, but recognise shortcomings and seek assistance when needed
  • Ability to retain and develop client relationships
  • Commitment to the Practice
  • Actively participate in marketing and promotion of the Practice
  • Team Player
