Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 08:00am - 16:00pm
Purpose of the role
Optimizes the effective utilization of the manufacturing facility. Daily update of all relevant production and Logistics reports. Departmental support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produces reports as required including, inventories and held raw materials.
- Daily planning activities as preparing weekly production plan, coordinating the forecast input and initial sequencing.
- Manage the production plan and arrange raw material supply for plan: projects / customer approvals / maintenance / trials etc.
- Checks that all graphics requirements and production formats are approved and in place to meet the production plan for cans.
- Establish an optimum production plan which meets the requirements and optimises the effective running of the manufacturing operation.
- Adapt the production plan to accommodate extraordinary circumstances e.g. shutdowns, quality issues, down-time etc.
- Proactively communicate planning problems to all relevant parties.
- Using SAP to set up new labels and maintain master data.
- Responsible for Alu coil data, booking onto SAP, calling into plant, weekly and month end counts.
- Dealing with Logistics and Transport queries and solving queries.

- Microsoft packages and SAP
- At least 3 years in a Production planning role
