Our manufacturing site at Rawcliffe Bridge is the largest site in Europe with over 250 FTEs and manufactures bespoke batch products for end markets such as Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetic and Crop Care. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking to recruit a new Site Director to drive an inclusive and progressive culture and to lead the site’s long term strategic objectives.
Degree qualified with prior experience in a Site Management role within a high hazard (COMAH) manufacturing environment
High level of strategic thinking to craft, communicate and deliver a longer-term site strategy and culture aligned with business goals.
Excellent people leadership skills to coach and develop a Site Leadership Team whilst also promoting continuous people development at all levels across the site
Background leading a unionised site and promoting a culture based on Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion.
Effectively coach, develop and motivate all members of a cross functional site management team whilst maintaining effective succession planning
Build productive industrial relations with the workforce and negotiate terms and conditions, including pay with site unions or staff on behalf of Croda as required.
Stimulate and encourage creativity within the site management team to deal efficiently with challenges such as cost savings, process improvement and new product development and thus create a continuous improvement culture on site.
Ensure that proper communication, instruction, and training is delivered to site employees, and ensure that adequate consultation takes place with employees and their representatives on material issues (e.g., Comply with the Croda CSR policy and ensure effective management of external relationships such as regulatory (e.g., HSE) and local community bodies.
Act as a change champion for the site, influencing peers, board and exec members, to promote inward investment in new products, processes and assets.
