Our client, a leading training company in the industry, is seeking a skilled Chef to join their team. As a Chef Coach, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs to aspiring chefs. If you have a passion for training and expertise in the culinary arts, this is an excellent opportunity for you to make a difference in the development of future culinary professionals. Don't have coaching experience? They'll provide all the training KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to individuals pursuing a career in the culinary field. Assess the progress and performance of trainees, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement. Create and maintain training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and hands-on activities. Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to ensure the training content is relevant and aligned with industry standards. Collaborate with other team members to continuously enhance the training programs and identify areas for improvement. Act as a mentor, offering support and guidance to trainees throughout their learning journey. Guide trainees in acquiring essential culinary skills, including knife techniques, food preparation, cooking methods, and menu development. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during training sessions and in the kitchen environment. JOB REQUIREMENTS Significant experience as a Chef Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and menu planning. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively transfer knowledge and engage with learners. Passionate about education and dedicated to the professional development of others. Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to adapt training techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners.
