We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of technical solutions for clients. They will facilitate internal and external meetings to gather business process requirements, use cases, and configuration.

The Technical Project Manager must ensure that contract scope and milestones are met on time and within budget. They will be responsible for generating and reviewing change order proposals with stakeholders. The Technical Project Manager will drive effective communication with external and internal teams and stakeholders to ensure that project status, client deliverables, and scope are understood. They will coordinate delivery with release management, quality leads, and operations for deployments and overall end-to-end implementation. Additionally, this role is responsible for comprehensive project planning, risk management, change management, communication management, as well as maintaining a good client relationship throughout the project lifecycle. The Technical Project Manager will maintain project budget and manage delivery to ensure profitability.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Lead or facilitate sessions to gather business process requirements and technical team standups ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, set schedules for all stakeholders, execute each step of the project, maintain project time frames, budget estimates, and status reports to be shared with internal and external clients.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Perform risk management and mitigation planning.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to include generating cost proposals and change orders.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop long-term trusted relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including internal and external meeting minutes.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial Technical Project Management experience.
  • Experience leading a global team and working with external and internal clients.
  • Candidates with a background in healthcare IT are preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project planning, risk management, change controls, resource allocation, budgeting, and profitability management.
