X-Ray Operational Lead Radiographer Band 7 Vacancy - Permanent
Bartholomew's Hospital
45am - 5pm Monday to Friday. There is an option to join the on-call roster to cover evening and weekend shifts as part of this role.
The Core Services Department has 3 digital Siemens x-ray rooms, 1 brand new Siemens fluoroscopy room, 10 digital mobile x-ray systems (7 Carestream and 3 Phillips) and a brand new Xograph dental x-ray room. Bartholomew's Hospital which is in the heart of the City of London- St. Come and join our friendly and supportive team of Radiographers, where continuous professional development is encouraged. We offer a full range of local and specialist services, which includes centres for the treatment of cancer, heart conditions, fertility problems, endocrinology and sexual health conditions. The hospital includes the site of the new state-of-the-art Barts Heart Centre.
The appropriate candidate will have good general radiographic experience, be resilient, flexible and able to demonstrate leadership and clinical supervision skills. Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain's leading healthcare providers.

Senior Radiographer in a busy general hospital with a range of appropriate clinical service.
Experience of developing and delivering training to radiographers and students
Development and implementation of Radiographic protocols and procedures.
Governance compliance and risk management in all areas of practice.
Project management and Change management experience.
Recruitment experience of junior Radiographers

Diagnostic Radiography BSc/equivalent
Evidence of appropriate Continuous Professional Development

Knowledge in a range of plain film radiography and technique optimisation
Teaching and training skills with the ability to adapt training and teaching styles in response to needs of the trainee.
Team player with enthusiasm for plain film radiography, with the ability to engage staff at all levels
IT skills, with advanced levels of understanding of Microsoft office.
Ability to negotiate on difficult and controversial issues including performance and change.
