The position is likely to be initially based within our Nursery Class.
Brackenbury is a two form entry primary school with one full time Nursery class. Ours is a diverse and vibrant school that is fully reflective of the mixed community which it serves. We have been graded as good by Ofsted (December 2022) and wish to continue to enhance our fantastic teaching and learning.
Brackenbury is part of a Federation with Kenmont Primary and Wendell Park Primary Schools, both in LBHF. We share an Executive Head teacher and offer staff many opportunities to work with colleagues across our partnership of school and share best practice and undertake joint professional development.
Has QTS and relevant experience of teaching in EYFS
Is ambitious and energetic and can ensure high quality provision
Has excellent interpersonal skills and qualities that motivate children
Will be accountable for raising standards and securing high quality provision within their class.

enthusiastic, friendly children with a love of learning

Prior to taking up post, applicants will be expected to sign the School’s Code of Conduct, which commits them to upholding the highest standards in public life, both in the way they undertake their professional duties, and in their personal conduct.
o To participate in induction processes, professional development and annual appraisal, where the employee’s ability to safeguard children or young people through professional involvement and personal conduct will be guided and assessed.
o To undertake mandatory training, including child protection training, as appropriate to their duties.
To familiarise themselves with all relevant policies and procedures, produced by the relevant services or by the Local Safeguarding Partnership, including procedures for managing allegations against staff.
