Job Overview:

As a Technical Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting installations of Cavity Wall and Solid Wall Insulation, assessing new technicians, and supporting our network of approved installing companies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of installation and compliance across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of Cavity Wall and Solid Wall Insulation installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Assess and evaluate new technicians to ensure they meet the required competencies and standards.
• Provide ongoing support and training to our network of approved installing companies to enhance their performance and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor and motivate Insta Network Installers, ensuring they maintain high-quality standards and productivity.
• Produce detailed inspection reports and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to address any issues and implement corrective actions.

Success for you & key outcomes are:

• Build & maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Visit complaints within 24 hours.
• Customer satisfaction, receiving positive feedback.
• CIGA complaints resolved within 2 weeks.
• Represent Insta & promote all products and services to the Network.

Skills and Experience Required:

• NVQ Level 5 qualification in CSCS is essential.
• Experience: At least five years as a BBA/KIWA Approved Cavity Wall Insulation Technician is essential. A knowledge of External Wall Insulation is advantageous.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to effectively convey technical information and feedback.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail to ensure precise and thorough inspections.
• IT Proficiency: Proficient in using IT systems to produce comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with PAS2030/35 standards is required to ensure compliance and quality control.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to self-manage workload and diary to maximize productivity and efficiency while working independently.
