We offer a comprehensive range of property services, including residential and commercial sales, lettings and management, auctions, rural property and business advice, planning and development, and architecture and building surveying.
We are on the lookout for an experienced RICS-Qualified Surveyor to join our dynamic Commercial Property Team. Our team deals with all aspects of commercial property, with a strong rural focus, including sales and lettings, property management, landlord and tenant matters, valuations, rating, and development.
This role is ideal for a commercial surveyor or a rural surveyor with solid commercial property experience. There is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead the department, following the forthcoming retirement of the current head of the department.
MRICS qualified with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in a commercial property environment
Thorough knowledge of commercial property agency, management, and surveying.
Excellent academic, professional, and personal record
Valid driving licence and own car
Conduct property inspections, arrange repairs and maintenance, liaise with tenants and contractors, maintain management records, and handle rent arrears
Manage lettings and sales of various commercial properties, conduct viewings, and prepare short-term leases and licenses
Handle rent reviews and provide general property advice
Perform Red Book valuations for tax, accounts, etc. (Generate work for the commercial and other departments through networking and business development activities
Lead the commercial department team following the current head's retirement
