Your experience of systems engineering and weapon systems design will help you to join a Missile Systems Design team to develop and deliver the latest Complex Weapons capabilities for our Armed Forces.

You will have the opportunity to work for a leading multi-national Defence systems provider which boasts some of most advanced facilities in their areas of expertise, and one of the engineers responsible for delivering a major capability. Our client currently requires a Systems Engineer to at the heart of the product development process, evaluating customer technical requirements to develop product requirement specifications, utilising system design and modelling techniques to study system behaviour and support design choices, planning and managing verification and validation to demonstrate cutting edge functionality and performance. You will gain a detailed understanding of missile system design as part of a diverse engineering development team creating new and innovative system solutions for our products. Application of systems engineering practices across the ‘V-model’ to develop complex products
Application of Defence, Military or other aerospace standards and design assurance processes is useful
As a Missile Systems Design Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Understanding of systems engineering tools (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody) and applicable languages (SysML) is desirable
Experience of managing engineering work packages to deliver value outcomes, including co-ordination of other engineering teams and SMEs
A desire to develop and grow your systems engineering skills
