Job Type: Contract
This will be a 6 month contract with extensions and required 3 days on-site per week in Paris, France.
Job Responsibilities and Skills required:- Expert of the archiving matter in SAP. Able to active action plans, recommendations related to local regulations.
- Analyse the database and identify archiving objects.
- Perform consistency checks between MM and FI.
- Schedule regular jobs for deleting administration data (for example, spool data).
- Determine system environment.
- Agree on a time plan.
- Define demands on archived data and archiving objects.
- Draw up order concept.
- Consult the relevant SAP Notes.
- Set up configuration and Customising.
- Perform archiving in the test system.
- Test the archiving functions.
- Start write and deletion programs.
- Log archiving results.
- Analyse and post process the list of errors.
- Check technical concept.
- Determine archiving cycle and variants.
- Prepare production system for archiving.
- Perform archiving in the production system.
- Test the archiving functions.
- Release productive archiving: perform write jobs.
- Perform a data backup.
- Plan and start deletion programs.
- Excellent communication skills in English
