Fit-out Project Manager
Strong Group are currently working with a leading contractor who specialise in interiors, facades, infrastructure and fire protection services. With a current turnover of £30m and a number of jobs on-going and in the pipeline, they are currently looking to add a Fit-out Project Manager to the team.
This area of the business specializes in creating innovative and high-quality interior fitout solutions for commercial, residential, and rail projects.
As a Fitout Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of interior fitout projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including coordination with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on schedule, and within budget.
Project Planning and Coordination
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with design teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication regarding project milestones, timelines, and budget.
Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
Provide guidance and support to team members and subcontractors as needed.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
Proven experience in project management, preferably in interior fitout or construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus
