Role: HR Business Partner

Location: The Haberdashers School, Elstree, Hertfordshire

Overview

Join our People team at The Haberdashers' Schools in Elstree as an HR Business Partner. We are looking for an experienced and adaptable HR professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. As an integral part of our People Team, you will interact with stakeholders across the organisation, representing the HR department within the school community.

In this role, you will not only partner with a specific school but also contribute to HR projects and initiatives across both our schools. You will drive organisational improvements in areas such as change programmes, employee engagement, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I), and compensation and benefits.

This role will include one day a week working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with school leadership to support HR strategies and initiatives
  • Lead and manage HR projects that span across multiple schools
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Advise on HR policies and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

Qualifications

  • Level 5 CIPD qualified
  • Bachelor’s degree

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
