Temporary Finance Director

I have been engaged by a rapidly growing health and hygiene business, who are looking for a UK&I Finance Director to lead their team.
Our client is a forward-thinking organisation committed to driving financial growth and stability. As they expand their operations, they’re seeking a skilled Financial Director to lead their finance team and shape their financial strategies.
As the Financial Director, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage accounting records and ensure accuracy
Evaluate and manage risk, ensuring compliance with regulations
Oversee accounting operations including AP/AR/Financial Controller functions
Analyze financial data, monitor expenditure, and forecast revenue
Coordinate auditing processes and ensure the accuracy of financial information
Lead a team in areas of AP/AR/Financial Controller
Prepare financial reports and ensure accurate monthly management accounts
Streamline accounting functions and operations, developing plans for financial growth
Degree in accounting or equivalent
~ Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
~3-5 years post-qualification experience in fast-paced, agile industries ideally within FMCG or retail
~ Experience in auditing and compliance-oriented environments
~ Proficiency in accounting software, especially linked to stock control
