Temporary Works Coordinator

Venesky-Brown is looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator for a major rail/civils project in Huddersfield

As a TWC you will play a pivotal role in delivering a major infrastructure upgrade. Reporting directly to the project management team, you will be responsible for developing TW design briefs in conjunction with the site team, liaising with TW designers to ensure the design solution is suitable for use.

You will appoint and monitor Temporary Works Supervisors (TWSs), and undertake engineering duties as required (setting out, completion of ITPs, writing of WPPs & TBSs etc.)

This is a long term contract. Pay will be PAYE, and salary is negotiable dependant on experience and tickets

Requirements:

  • Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course (TWCTC)
  • Civil engineering degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within the railway/civils environment
  • Member of a relevant professional body (ICE or similar) with chartered status and educated to degree level, unless significant experience in the role has previously been recognised
  • Demonstrable experience of managing Temporary Works on civil engineering projects

Desirable:

  • PTS
  • Experience with Project Wise
