Electrical Design Engineer

Permanent, Full Time

Monday to Friday - 9am > 5pm

This person will work closely with the team during the design and development of a new packaging assembly machine.

Principal Electrical Designer on project.
Responsible for originating all electrical & pneumatic drawings.
Actively participate in build and run up testing of machines.
Support build and commissioning teams with electrical fault diagnosis.
Assist Controls Engineer on commissioning activities.
Responsible for electrical safety, electrical risk assessments and standards compliance.
Origination of electrical BOMS.
Electrical or Mechatronic qualification, minimum foundation degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing machine electrical systems from scratch.
Understanding of UKCA / CE marking PUWER and machine certification.
SolidWorks electrical experience (advantageous).
