A Lewisham school for children with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties requires a talented SEN Teacher to join their team from September or October 2023.

This School is a hub of positivity and all staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. From the second you arrive at this School, you will be supported and made to feel part of the team. Having passed a recent Ofsted inspection and been applauded on their multiple improvements and strengths, it is a great time to join this School.

The post is taking a class of students with the primary diagnosis of Autism and students are Years 3 - 5. All students are verbal and working at around EYFS - Key Stage 1 levels so someone with strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum. The role is hands on and requires a talented SEN Teacher who is naturally caring, able to work as part of a team and has a can-do attitude. Responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons and sensory learning.
