Role The role is focussed on providing technical support to 3 advisers (primarily with a bias towards individual retirement planning) and offers the potential for progression for the right candidate. You would work as part of a great team (mostly in the office), helping us prepare for and follow up our client meetings. This is very much a collaborative effort with your input being primarily of a technical nature. Qualifications This role requires a high-performing paraplanner who can provide explainable solutions to complex problems, or at least have a strong desire to learn how The ability to undertake the analysis of risk and fund performance is a prerequisite – we currently use FE to support us with this kind of work. We also use Timeline as our cashflow modeller but experience of this is not essential as we can provide training. In depth working knowledge of XL would be ideal. The nature of our clients requires us to carefully understand all aspects of their (usually complex) financial position and undertake in depth research to ensure we have provided the most efficient solution – the advisers should be challenged on their assumptions and therefore having the confidence to offer new perspectives is encouraged. You should hold or be working towards your Level 4 Diploma in Financial planning or equivalent and have experience of this type of role. It will be necessary to work on several different clients throughout the day – this means organisational skills are of great importance. Paraplanner benefits Salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience. The ability to work from home 2 days per week (after the completion of a short probationary period). Our office is based in the centre of Leamington Spa so is close to the train station. Four times salary life assurance. 10% of salary employer pension contribution. 26 days holiday plus bank holidays. 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
