Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher seeking a flexible teaching role in Bournemouth?

GSL Education are currently hiring Substitute teachers for the local primary schools in the Bournemouth area. As a Substitute Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching cover for when teachers are absent. You will be able to have flexibility over your bookings and the days in which you would like to work, enabling you to have a healthy work-life balance. Due to the nature of the role, you will be teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, therefore experience within both key stages would be beneficial.

As a Substitute Teacher, you can experience a range of different schools, and develop your teaching skills by adapting to different curriculum styles and classroom settings.
Professional Growth: Perhaps you are an ECT seeking additional experience ahead of a permanent position, and if so, this could be the best way to get your foot in the door with local schools and build on your experiences.
Key to Continuity: Your role as a Substitute Teacher is instrumental in ensuring that the pupils receive uninterrupted education, and consistent support.

Hold a PGCE /QTS
Be confident within your behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school’s behaviour policies
Be flexible and prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups
To work with GSL Education as, you should:

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
