Job Title: Electrical Mate (18th Edition NVQ Level 2) Location: Cannock, United Kingdom Join a reputable electrical contracts company based in Cannock, specialising in delivering top-quality electrical solutions to commercial and industrial clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Mate with an 18th Edition NVQ Level 2 qualification to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our electricians and project managers to support various electrical installations, maintenance tasks, and construction projects throughout Cannock and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment according to industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform tasks such as cable pulling, conduit installation, wiring, and fixture fitting under the guidance of experienced electricians.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times, adhering to company policies and industry best practices.
  • Support project managers and team members in completing projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition, following proper storage and handling practices.
  • Assist in diagnosing electrical problems and implementing solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to coordinate work activities and meet project requirements.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification is essential.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Mate or similar role in the electrical industry preferred.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions effectively.
  • Valid CSCS/ECS card is desirable.
  • Full UK driving license is advantageous.
