Falcon Green is working with a European Engineering Contractor that is focused on delivering complex, large scale life sciences and mission critical projects across Ireland, UK, Europe and further afield. Due to planned and continued growth, they now require a competent Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor on a hyperscale project in North London.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the M&E market across a variety of projects and a proven track record of taking complex electrical packages through to completion in budget. This is a massive opportunity for someone planning to have a long-term career in the data centre sector, as the need for infrastructure continues to grow in this sector.
On top of a generous salary, allowance, travel and pension is also included.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts.
* Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
* Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual.
* Prepare submit and negotiate project final accounts.
* Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
* Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at the project level.
* Preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
* Monitoring changes to continuously identify the status of costs.
* Driving value by exploring all areas of value engineering with contractors and consultants to achieve best value design that is fit for purpose.
* 5+ years’ experience in an Electrical Quantity Surveyor position.
* Drive and a previous track record of delivering projects to tight deadlines.
