We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial planning and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business success.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads to gather input for budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to identify trends and provide insights to senior management.

Performance Analysis:

  • Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for key drivers.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics to measure business performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for executive leadership.

Decision Support:

  • Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making, including investment analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of various initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of financial best practices.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Support external audit processes as needed.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management.
  • Assist in special projects and initiatives to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional certification a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial, financial planning and analysis roles.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with the gaming, social media industry or technology sector is advantageous.
