If you have commitment to professional development, evidence based practice and have a keen interest in haemodialysis,then we would like to hear from you.This is an exciting opportunity and as part of our team you will take on the fascinating and challenging role of becoming a renal nurse. You will play an integral role in maintaining and developing a centre of clinical excellence and work in an environment that meets the needs of both clients and team members.You will ideally have at least 3 months post registration experience. A willingness to undertake training within the speciality is essential as relevant education and training will be provided by an excellent in-service training programme supported by an established Renal Education Team. We encourage all applicants to arrange an informal visit.

  • A minimum 6 months experience in medical ward or acute care setting.

Desirable

  • Experience in haemodialysis

Skills/knowledge/ abilities

  • Willingness to develop teaching skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Knowledge of care planning, preceptorship, reflection and clinical supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the NMC Code of Conduct
