Working with the QA Lead and the QA team, the QA Functionality Tester has the responsibility of monitoring and reporting a builds health through the appropriate channels. This is an in-house position, based in our Studio in Woking, Surrey, UK.

Ballistic Moon is a game studio based in Woking, Surrey, UK. With a growing team of highly experienced developers, we are currently developing  Until Dawn, Rebuilt & Enhanced.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the product is to the highest standard of quality
  • Ensure we provide reliably stable builds daily
  • Support the development team to test new features as they are implemented
  • Perform regression testing
  • Find and provide clear, concise bug reproductions to assist the development team
  • Report issues to a consistent high degree of accuracy
  • Assist with the creation and execution of test cases
Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
  • Excellent written and spoken communication across different levels of the studio
  • Flexible and open-minded approach to testing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
Required Experience
  • Proven experience in functional games QA
  • Experience executing structured test plans, especially smoke and regression tests
  • Understanding of, or exposure to, a variety of testing methodologies
Bonus Skills
  • A passionate console or PC gamer
  • Testing games on PC and PS5
  • Experience of using Jira
  • Experience with other testing software, such as TestSuite
