Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Engineering Team Leader, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices
Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised.
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Complete suitable risk assessments prior to undertaking maintenance and repair work and document in full to ensure safe working practice
Work with and install single phase / three phase electrical circuits · Carryout repairs and maintenance to site facilities
A recognised Electrical / Mechanical apprenticeship
Multi Skilled with a mechanical bias accompanied by good electrical knowledge
Qualified Multi skilled Engineer with an electrical bias
3 years plus experience of working in a food production environment
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Good standard of written and oral communication in English
