Role Overview: As a Locum GP, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients across various locations in Scotland. Your clinical expertise, compassion, and dedication to patient care will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and communities. Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive medical consultations and assessments to patients of all ages.
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and referring patients to specialists as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Previous experience working as a General Practitioner in primary care settings.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with patients.
• Flexibility to work across various locations in Scotland.
• Commitment to maintaining professional development and adhering to clinical governance standards.
