Business Product Owner

The UK business is seeking to recruit an experienced Technology/Business Product Owner focusing on leading and driving the success of our technology platforms to deliver business outcomes. The role will be to lead the future development and ongoing delivery of our critical business technologies, working with business leaders, business stakeholders, global product owners and technology teams to ensure the platforms enables both strategic and tactical business goals. Provide vision and leadership in the ongoing development of our business technology Serves as the primary business owner for the UK business' technology platforms, taking responsibility for ensuring the technology delivers the best outcome to our teams, clients and the business. Manages the UK platform helpdesk team to best support the business. Works with the business to define and drive the vision, functionality, features and requirements of the platforms. Works closely with the global Product Owners to align on the platform roadmap and action plans. Owns, maintains and prioritises requirements and effective delivery of those requirements aligned to business priorities and outcomes Works closely with technology teams to translate business requirements to technical solutions and ensures appropriate testing and validation of outcomes. Drive platform adoption and engagement by working with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure clarity of understanding, appropriate training and communications. Support compliance, security, and governance requirements from a business perspective. Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and areas for development and improvement aligned to business outcomes. Develops and maintains a strong understanding of business activities to drive business outcomes Defines and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and make data-driven decisions. Experience of working in a Product Owner, systems analyst or business analyst role with proven experience of implementing system requirements. Effective communication skills across both technical and business stakeholders. The curiosity and enthusiasm to create simple and effective solutions for business problems. The ability and desire to develop close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influencing skills to deliver business outcomes. Excellent Microsoft Office products knowledge, including Visio, Excel and PowerPoint. In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and working knowledge of Agile Framework. Ability to prioritise features and tasks based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
