The successful candidate will join our multi-skilled product teams and participate in our agile process. You will also be supported by our dynamic Data team and benefit from talking shop with our other data roles including; Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and our Machine Learning Engineer.

A strong foundation in machine learning theory and practical experience, particularly in NLP, is essential for success in this role. We are also looking to push the performance boundaries of our new product as far as possible, so experience and knowledge on techniques like reinforcement learning and domain-specific knowledge in sales will be invaluable.
Develop, train and deploy machine learning and AI models, particularly focussing on NLP and language understanding tasks.
Work extensively with PyTorch and other machine learning frameworks to build and iterate on models.
Optimise and productionise models inside the AWS ecosystem, making use of accelerated hardware resources where needed.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including other Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers, to integrate AI solutions into our tech stack.
Explore and implement methods for measuring the performance of products and gaining insights into performance metrics.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a proven track record of deploying models in production settings.
Advanced proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g. Expertise in a range of machine learning techniques, including:
NLP techniques like text embeddings, large language models and entity & intent recognition.
Supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
Previous exposure to sales psychology and its application in data-driven contexts is highly desirable.
