Leading Norwich based engineering business now has a position available for Quality Inspector.
This engineering business genuinely invest heavily in their staff, proving long term careers and opportunities to grow and develop your own skills and knowledge.
The role exists to ensure that all products meet the quality requirements of the customer and the organisation and, as a hands-on mechanical inspector, you will be responsible for executing general inspection functions both visual and dimensional, including correctly and properly using mechanical measuring devices and reporting results.
Locate datum’s on parts and measure dimensions such as angle, arc and radii using a combination of aids such as parallel bars, gauge blocks, v blocks, sine bars and precision measuring instruments.
· Report quality problems or findings and follow up to ensure corrective action has been put in place.
· Check commercial off the shelf items conform to specifications required and the relevant documentation has been received.
Good computer and communication skills.
· Full Driving Licence to drive in the UK and abroad.
· Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
