Legal Cashier

Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client, an established and reputable firm based in Gravesend, Kent, in recruiting for a Legal Cashier. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will involve working independently and overseeing Office and Client account administration.
Legal Aid billing / enquiries
* Bank, petty cash, credit cards and expenses reconciliations
* Bank reconciliations for client account on a daily basis
* Monthly compliance reporting to COFA/COLP and partners
* the production of Office and Client account cheques
* the processing Office and Client account receipts
* the processing Client to Office transfers
* Monitoring residual client balances
* Production of time and billing reports
* Other ad-hoc duties
The successful candidate will be fully computer literate with advanced Excel skills, be conversant with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and VAT Regulations. Candidates need to be proactive with an eye for detail, and who can communicate well with their immediate colleagues.
Applicants should also be willing to work additional hours as required at busy periods.
