Serving the construction and civil engineering sectors, our team is committed to quality, innovation, and reliability. We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our maintenance team at our Glenrothes headquarters. This mobile role requires a skilled professional with a full driving license, as youll support operations across multiple sites as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the quarry, mining, or transport industry, though relevant mechanical expertise from other sectors will also be considered. Perform regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance on plant equipment and HGVs, ensuring all vehicles and equipment are safe and operational.
Adhere to the Highway Code and notify management of any motoring convictions immediately.
Use provided protective clothing, adhere to health and safety protocols, and complete additional training as needed.
Undergo regular assessments to ensure competency and quality of service.
This role requires a flexible approach to duties as business needs evolve. A dedicated van stocked with all necessary tools and equipment.
A 40-hour work week with overtime available at:
Time and a half for standard overtime and Saturday mornings
Double time for Saturday afternoons and Sundays
