- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
