Job Description

A fast growing London based start up client are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to join their team. The client have created a market leading SaaS applications which is a industry leader within their space. The client have created a 'tech-first' team and are seeking highly dedicated, ambitious and forward thinking colleagues who would thrive in a collaborative environment.

Please note: This role is a hybrid position and requires candidates to be within a commutable distance of London working onsite 3 days per week.

As a Frontend Engineer you be responsible for creating highly intuitive, usable web applications. We are looking for someone who wants their work to be 'pixel-perfect' and can work with other technical teams; Development, Product and Testing to really understand the product that they are working on and how their designs may effect customer satisfaction.

Mainly working with the client Product Engineering Team you will be:

  • Writing TypeScript/ JavaScript to build highly usable websites that you're proud of
  • Integrate complex FE components to work with APIs
  • Promote a true culture of quality amongst the technology team

We are mainly looking for candidates who hold experience in the below technologies:

  • JavaScript/ TypeScript (deep understanding)
  • Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (Vue (2-3)/Nuxt currently)
  • HTML/CSS/SCSS
  • Tailwind
  • Front End build tools (Webpack, npm, Vite etc)

This role will be suitable for you if you have experience either Leading a team OR working as a sole Front End Developer within wider team of Back End Engineers.

The client are looking to move quickly on this with a two stage interview process kicking off as soon as suitable candidates are found, with this in mind we are candidates to have no more than a 4 week notice period to allow a smooth transition.
