Do you have a passion for sports medicine and a desire to make a real impact on the lives of young athletes? Cambridge United is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Academy Medical to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of our future stars.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Lead and manage all medical provision for our Academy players, aged U9 to U21.
- Provide clinical examinations and interventions for U18 and U21 players.
- Oversee communication with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for U18-U21 players.
- Support the Academy U9-U16 Lead Therapist in managing the Schoolboy Medical programme.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Physiotherapist (BSc or MSc).
- Level 4 ITMMiF and/or Level 5 ATMMiF qualifications (or equivalent).
- HCPC registration and recent DBS check.
- Experience working in an elite sporting environment with young athletes, preferably in a football academy setting.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for sports medicine and a commitment to player development.
