Strategic Procurement Partnership Manager

An innovative and ambitious technology solutions provider based in the Birmingham region who work in partnership with clients across the private and public sector in the UK. To support their continued growth plans and to ensure the delivery of commercial excellence, they are currently recruiting for a Head of Procurement & Strategic Partnerships to join the team.
The Head of Procurement & Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for development and implementation of the commercial procurement strategy. The post holder will facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly supplier performance reviews, seeking opportunities for cost savings and to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, the Head of Procurement & Strategic Partnerships will also lead a small procurement team and will manage indirect procurement for the business.
To be successful, you will be a Head of Procurement or Procurement Manager with proven success in managing multi-million pound IT, Technology and Telecoms contracts. You will be highly commercial, have superb negotiation skills and be able to build effective relationships. It is essential that you have experience from the Technology, Software, Telecoms or similar sectors.
You will receive a salary of £60,000 to £80,000 (DOE) plus a highly attractive performance-related bonus scheme and private medical insurance. The role will work on a hybrid basis with the flexibility of working from home up to two days per week. This is a superb senior role with a fantastic opportunity to directly support the growth plans of the business and maximise financial performance.
