We are looking for a Project Support Technician to join our innovative alliance with Anglian Water (Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance).

IMR WRA provide the best water recycling, by maintaining existing assets and undertaking new projects, that safeguard future water recycling asset health.

Within the Alliance’s remit is planned and emergency sewer works, rising mains and SMART technology installation, as well as maintenance and repair.

The Role
Supporting the engineering & delivery teams, your responsibilities as Project Support Technician will be to support and deliver planned works to infrastructure assets and to collaborate with various stakeholders across the alliance, to find effective engineering solutions.

Here are some of the activities that you’ll get involved with…

  • Investigate and develop engineering solutions to enable successful delivery
  • Manage the follow-on response to ensure key objectives are being met
  • Support customers with finding satisfactory resolutions to technical issues
  • Work closely with alliance colleagues, contractors and wider Anglian Water teams, such as Systems, Planners, Networks, M&E and Treatment
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy of all data for projects being developed and delivered
  • Capture and record financial and performance data pertaining to the projects
  • Develop clear, concise & costed solutions for delivery to be able to fulfil defined activities

Previous relevant experience and/or a professional engineering qualification.

Previous experience reading and understanding CCTV reports would be highly appreciated, along with being able to write basic reports.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with being analytical and commercially astute.
