The company are currently looking to hire a Product Assurance Engineer to join the quality supply chain team in Stevenage or Bolton.   • Non-Conformance Management: The successful candidate will handle major equipment supplier product non-conformances. They will lead defect investigations with suppliers to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Responsibilities include analysing and reporting on supplier non-conformance data and identifying improvements in the non-conformance management process within SAP.
  • Supplier Surveillance: Collaborate with internal customers to select candidate suppliers for surveillance planning and manage schedules for these activities.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct quality audits and assessments in line with the surveillance plan and contracted quality requirements. The role includes reviewing supplier corrective actions and conducting product acceptance to mitigate project risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements to support on-time and high-quality product delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Supply Chain Background: Strong background in quality supply chain environments with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Standards Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of key external standards such as EN9100.
  • Quality Techniques: Proficient in Quality Tools & Techniques (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, PFMEA).
