We are currently seeking a Senior Chef de Partie who is eager to advance their career at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport. Our kitchen has a strong focus on training and development, with three previous CDPs successfully progressing to the roles of Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef. If you are ready to take the next step in your culinary journey or are seeking comprehensive training for career growth, we may be the ideal match for you. This is a full time 40 hours per week position.
As a Senior Chef de Partie, you are responsible for ensuring high levels of food preparation, quality, and consistency to deliver an excellent guest experience.
All applicants must be flexible -Shifts are inclusive of weekends & Bank Holidays
To have a thorough knowledge of and prepare all dishes on hotel menus ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout.
To ensure all foods are stored correctly and stocks rotated in line with Food Hygiene requirements.
To keep food wastage to a minimum through stock rotation and ensuring portion controls are adhered to.
To ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen during service, ensuring food is prepared and served to the standards required.
To record temperature checks on food and in storage areas as directed to ensure statutory requirements are met and report any variances are reported immediately.
The ideal Senior Chef de Partie will have experience in a similar role and prepping in a good quality kitchen
A professional, organised, and competent Senior Chef de Partie
Support with team training.
Passionate about the hospitality industry and has great customer service skill
All applicants must be flexible on the working days (5 out of 7-day rota)
