Junior Fitter

Exciting opportunity for someone that enjoys engineering and mechanics and wants to learn new skills and build a career in this industry.

Our client is a equipment and plant hire company with a local branch based in Sussex, nearby to M23/Hurstpierpoint.

They are looking for a site based, junior fitter to learn how to repair and service their mobile generator units, winches and trailers and to collect and deliver them from client premises..

You will need to have a basic understanding of a mechanical environment and be keen to learn new skills within this sector.

You will also be required to collect and deliver equipment (towing is required on your license) from client sites on a regular basis and this will be a prominent aspect of your role within the company.

This is robust plant equipment, requiring someone who understands the health and safety issues of working with plant hire equipment (not diggers or JCB's) and has a keen, mechanical awareness to learn how to strip down and repair this equipment with confidence.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7.30 - 5.00 with overtime options and competitive salary. Immediate interviews #J-18808-Ljbffr
