The role of a Mid-Weight Designer at Leisure Concepts Design is to work with our whole creative team to support a varied number of projects and tasks across our creative departments.

We are an established multidisciplinary business incorporating interior design, graphic design & 3D visualisation studio and architects practice based in Warwickshire. We believe that design is a collaborative process and as such this role is based within our busy Warwickshire office unless required to attend external meetings or for site based work.

You will be working collaboratively with the technical and creative interiors team to work across a wide range of projects for clients and also internally with our graphics and 3D visualisation studio. This could be creating interior designs for a variety of leisure operations and high end senior living clients, brainstorming creative concepts, producing detailed plans and elevations and any number of any related creative activities.

The nature of our business means this role is varied and will allow you to experience and work on a wide range of projects. As your role progresses, you’ll be able to lead your own projects and nourish relationships with clients with the help and support of the team.

You will be working in a fast moving and intensely creative environment, bringing new ideas and inspiration to the consultancy. We actively encourage you to embrace the unknown which means new ideas, but also not fearing speaking up, challenging the status quo, asking questions and making a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative design concepts and solutions that align with client objectives and aspirations.
  • Be able to think about creative solutions in a holistic way, not just focusing on how they look, and be good at explaining your ideas to the rest of the team.
  • Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Sharing your knowledge and skills by mentoring less experienced team members.

Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum 4+ years, within a design practice working working on commercial projects, ideally within the lesiure industry.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual design skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident presenting skills.
  • Demonstratable CAD skills and experience.
  • Ability to work to client feedback and deliver projects to deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn and improve.
  • An ability to work independently and manage your own time.
  • A team player, willing to raise your hand to support others and problem solve.
  • Professional and respectful attitude to work at all times. 
  • Driving licecnce essential.
