Are you looking to work with children who have Special Educational Needs? Do you enjoy using your imagination to inspire children?

GSL Education are currently working with a friendly secondary school situated near Rowlands Castle. This school is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team working with children who have a range of additional needs.

A suitable candidate will have experience working with children who have complex learning difficulties and who enjoys creating positive relationships with children.

This special school caters for children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Many children also have a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Attachment Disorders, Anxiety and Speech and Language delay.

Working under the guidance of a teacher supporting small groups of pupils with learning tasks.

- Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and communication skills.

- Fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for children to build safe relationships in.

- Safeguarding will be your number one priority ensuring the welfare of the pupils.

- Working with pupils across KS 2-4.

Full time 8:30am - 3:30pm (Mon - Fri)

- £Temporary to permanent contract

- ASAP

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
