Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) which are revolutionising modern warfare Radars that are capable of detecting foot prints in the grass when someone has walked across a field Digital Radar Electronic Support Measures (RESM) that provides situational awareness and identify threats even in busy Electronic Transmission Environments Radar Electronic Countermeasures (RECM) that can protect assets by denying tactical advantage and distracting incoming threats.

You will be a key member of the Software Development team based at the Thales site in Crawley, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with Thales sites in the UK and overseas.
Key responsibilities will range from the design, implementation and test of Human Computer Interface, to Signal processing and middleware products, always keeping in line with the best industry standard tools and methods.

Software Engineering (Development / Test / Integration) in support of a current software development of ISR application
Undertake software development, test and integration activities to verify programme requirements as identified by the Engineering / Software Lead.
To specify and prove designs to meet project operational requirements.
To contribute to the generation of project cost and schedule information.
To support the management of project risks.
To support project 'team building'.
To ensure that project safety and airworthiness requirements are addressed in a manner consistent with company processes.
Appreciation of the software life cycle and processes.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 / 2005, QT
Microsoft Windows 10 / 7 / XP, Server 2016 / 2003, Linux
Experience in full software lifecycle (requirements, development, test, integration)
Desirable - Knowledge of Agile - Scrum
Computing/Software Engineering discipline.
